Simple Strength is an app for women over 40 who want a simple, effective way to build strength. Whether you're completely new to strength training or returning after a break, our workouts are designed to help you get stronger, feel more confident in your body, and fit strength training into your busy life.

Simple Strength Membership

Membership is for women who want coaching, support and encouragement. You'll have access to qualified trainers who can answer your questions, a community of women on the same journey, and a structured program designed to help you stay consistent with strength training long term.

Free Base Plan

The Free Base Plan is for women who want a simple, self-guided strength training program. You'll get a workout to follow and repeat each week, helping you build strength and confidence at your own pace.

The Membership program includes two full body strength workouts per week plus optional extras throughout the month. Workouts are fully guided and use body weight and dumbbells for resistance.

The program is progressive, meaning each workout builds on the last to gradually increase the challenge and help you get stronger over time.

The Free Base Plan includes one full body workout to follow and repeat throughout the month.

Simple Strength is designed for women who want to get stronger by simply pressing play and being guided by two trainers, with exercise options for all levels.

Each month focuses on 8 key exercises using body weight and dumbbells, so you build confidence with your technique, always know what to expect and never feel confused or overwhelmed.

Strength workouts use dumbbells for resistance, however we recommend starting without weights to focus on your technique first. 

When you are ready, add a light set of dumbbells between 1-3kg, and a heavier set of dumbbells between 5-8kg.

A good option is a set of 2kg dumbbells, and a set of 5kg dumbbells. 

An exercise mat is great too.

The program includes two full-body workouts per week, each under 30 minutes. It helps you get stronger and makes consistency realistic long term.

Yes, you can repeat the workouts as many times as you like.
We release a new program every month and the previous months program will be avaialbe for four weeks.

Yes. Yoga, biking, and other activities are great for your health and wellbeing, but they don’t build muscle as effectively as strength training. Strength training helps you maintain muscle and stay strong for everyday life and the activities you enjoy.

No! You will not build large, bulky muscles but strength training will help you develop strong muscles.

Yes! If you have a smart TV, you can access the workouts using a web browser like Google Chrome. You can also cast from your phone or device using Chromecast, AirPlay, or similar features. It’s an easy way to follow along on a bigger screen while you train.

You can join and access the Simple Strength App from anywhere.

You can get started for free with our Free Base Plan. If you want more support, the Simple Strength Membership is a monthly or yearly subscription that includes coaching, community, and full program access.

Cancel anytime.

Cancellations must be done on the Simple Strength website. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

To access your account:

1. Go to www.simplestrength.co.nz 
2. Click the Members tab to log in
3. Click your avatar (profile icon) in the top-right corner

You can also go directly here:Account Details.

To cancel your subscription:

1. In Settings, click the Billing tab
2. Find your Membership
3. Click the three dots (…) to the right
4. Select Cancel this Subscription
5. Click Cancel Subscription again to confirm

Your membership will continue until the end of the current month or year you’ve already paid for.

To change your details:

1. In Settings, click the Contact and Settings tab
2. Update your details as needed
3. Click Save to confirm the changes

If your payment doesn’t go through, we’ll email you and make further attempts to charge your card. If we’re still unable to process the payment, your subscription will automatically cancel.

If you want to switch from a monthly plan to a yearly plan, or from yearly to monthly, you’ll need to:

1. Cancel your current subscription using the steps in the “How do I cancel my subscription?” FAQ
2. After you’ve cancelled, go to the website to purchase the new plan.

Cancelling your subscription does not remove your access straight away. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Once your current subscription has ended, you can purchase the new plan you'd like.

Please note that if you purchase a new plan before your current subscription expires, you may end up paying for overlapping membership periods.
